BeatVibe Privacy Policy

About this policy
BeatVibe is an offline rhythm workshop developed by Sadfeu devs. This policy explains how the application handles information. For support or privacy questions, contact info@sadfeu.com.
Information stored on your device
BeatVibe stores your rhythm patterns and their names, the current working pattern, favourites, practice sets, lesson progress, tutorial state and settings locally. Settings include language, tempo, volume, visual feedback and playback preferences. This information lets you create, save and practise rhythms and continue after closing the app.
The Android application keeps its current save and a previous save in private application preferences. If a save cannot be read, it can retain the unreadable original on the device for recovery. Local recovery copies may therefore contain earlier patterns and preferences. The app uses the device language to choose its initial interface language.
BeatVibe synthesises percussion sounds for playback. It does not record your microphone, collect audio from your surroundings or upload recordings. Ordinary use does not require an account, name, email address, contacts, location, camera, photos or an advertising identifier.
Collection and network use
The rhythm tools work offline. They do not send patterns, practice activity or preferences to Sadfeu devs. The current app has no advertising, analytics, payment, tracking or remote crash-reporting service.
The Android package declares Internet access and includes a managed component for an external terms page. Normal startup opens the rhythm workshop directly, and its interface does not open that component. The Internet permission does not mean that your saved rhythms are uploaded.
Importing and sharing patterns
You can choose to share a compact text representation of a pattern through Android's share controls. The selected receiving app or recipient will receive the pattern data and any pattern name contained in it. Sharing is initiated by you; BeatVibe does not automatically publish your library.
You can also choose a pattern document using Android's system document picker. BeatVibe reads the selected document, checks its format and limits, and imports valid pattern data. The import size is limited to 8192 bytes. This does not give the app broad access to your files. The chosen document or sharing service has its own data practices.
Android backup
The application allows Android system backup. Depending on your device and backup settings, Android may copy app data to your configured backup service or transfer it to a new device. This is separate from BeatVibe's local recovery copies. Sadfeu devs does not operate the system backup service. Manage backup, restoration and deletion through your device or backup provider's controls.
Optional email support
If you contact info@sadfeu.com, we receive the sender address, any sender name, and the message and attachments you choose to send. This information is used to respond to your support question or privacy request. Email providers process correspondence to deliver and store it. The app does not automatically attach your patterns, saves or device logs. Include only information relevant to your request.
Retention and deletion
Local information remains until it is replaced or removed. Deleting an individual pattern or set changes the current library; a local recovery copy or an Android backup may still contain earlier information. To remove all locally stored BeatVibe information, clear the app's storage in Android settings or uninstall it. Labels vary by device. System backups and copies you shared with other apps or recipients must be managed separately and may survive uninstalling the app.
Sadfeu devs cannot remotely erase information stored only on your device or copies held by a recipient you selected. Contact info@sadfeu.com with questions about support correspondence or to request its deletion.
Security
Local saves use Android's private application storage and save validation and recovery mechanisms. These measures help protect save integrity but do not guarantee absolute security or add encryption to save contents. Keep your device and operating system secure. Backup, document providers and email services apply their own protections.
Children's privacy
Ordinary rhythm creation does not ask for a player's age or identity and does not collect personal information through accounts, advertising or tracking. If a child sends personal information in a support message, a parent or guardian may contact info@sadfeu.com to request deletion of that correspondence.
Policy changes
We may update this policy when BeatVibe or its information practices change. The date above identifies the current version.
